Zelda, to me it’s the god of all video games, you might have a different opinion or a different favorite game franchise but for me, that is easily Zelda, with a close Final Fantasy for a second runner up.
This year at E3 2019 I got to play the newly revamped fully redone and remastered Zelda: links awakening.. I can’t begin to tell you how beautiful and cute this game looked while playing it on the switch. Myself and my wonderful friend Veronica were able to play side-by-side and experience the demo at E3. And I have to tell you everything about this game looked absolutely flawless and felt so fluent. It was a joy to play!
What really got me was the actual booth at E3 that they set up. Surrounding all the screens and console area is for you to play. The area had these super adorable top-down diaphragms of different areas of the world within links awakening and it was just a joy to look at. From the cuccos to the baddies my eyes were in love with what I saw! It made the time waiting in line that much easier to deal with and let me tell you it was a long line. I had an exhibitor badge as well so I was able to get in that line before many other people attending the show floor and it still took quite some time to actually get to play the game.
Below is an accumulation of some of my favorite photos from the time I got to play the game, thankfully my wonderful friend CJ Sparxx was around to take some photos and video content for me to share with you. Oh and I have to give a special shout out to the staff working at the Zelda booth, they were so wonderful and you could tell they were also having a wonderful time being there. Zelda fans or not they were lovely!
I can’t wait to grab this game on my switch and relive what is easily one of the best Zelda Games!
Thank you to Nintendo for always producing the most lovely and high-quality games, and to allowing us to experience some of our favorites in new and exciting ways!
